In 2010 for the very first time, Warsteiner brewery is presenting the national arts and creativity award "BLOOOM Award by WARSTEINER". Within the framework of the new platform "BLOOOM - the creative industries art show.", artists or artist groups are being asked to introduce themselves and their artworks to a nameable jury, thereunder Yasha Young (Director BLOOOM) and Walter Gehlen (Director ART.FAIR 21). In this manner, Warsteiner and BLOOOM afford a stepping stone towards the professional arts and creativity market for young and creative artists.

BLOOOM Award by WARSTEINER.

By being the official catalyser of BLOOOM and especially by presenting "BLOOOM Award by WARSTEINER", the brewery is once again supporting creative talents. Already in 2009, with their "WARSTEINER Liquid Cube Tour" Warsteiner made their mark in the arts and design scene. The national concept combined interior design, urban art and urban club culture, and gave young and ambitous artists the opportunity to showcase themselves in clubs to the general public. The WARSTEINER Liquid Cube concept will continue in 2010.

ART.FAIR 21 - Fair for 21st century art.

Over the last eight years, the ART.FAIR 21 has established a firm place for itself in the international art scene. Once a year, in Cologne's city centre, the ART.FAIR 21 presents promising new positions and selected current artworks from internationally established artists.

BLOOOM is integrated within the same parameters and space as its big sister ART.FAIR 21 offering an even greater opportunity for exchange and inspiration amongst all parties.

STAATENHAUS AM RHEINPARK.

In the listed Staatenhaus am Rheinpark here in Cologne the spirit of the Twenties lives on with all the charm and mythical aura of that age. The parallel architectural layout of colonnades and halls on an arched ground plan, the atmosphere provided by daylight, lend the Staatenhaus Köln their unique character. The two interconnected functional and modern fair halls of a total of 9,500 sqm, and the adjacent event hall of another 3,400 sqm offer sufficient space for exhibitions and action.
